A House for Dr Ghosh

A House for Dr Ghosh P C GHOSH, that sainted Gandhian, was bath to give up his ministerial abode in the Raj Bhavan after his resignation from the United Front Government. So he petitioned the Government that he should be allowed to stay on and offered to pay rent for the house. It was a hypocritical offer, for Ghosh knew well that he had already paid the rent in kind to the Governor by resigning from the A joy Mukherjee Ministry and engineering the defection of enough legislators to raise doubts about the Government's majority in the Assembly. Well, on Tuesday night the Governor dismissed Ajoy Mukherjee from office and P C Ghosh well and truly earned his house.
