Better Prospects for FACT THE OUTLOOK for Fertilisers and Chemicals, Travancore, appears a little better this year than in the last, according to the chairman of the Company, P A Menon. He told shareholders at the last annual general meeting that the shortage of power was likely to ease in the current year. The regular power cuts imposed by the Kerala Electricity Board have made it impossible for the Company to maintain production since 1962. Last year was the worst, when the company incurred a heavy net loss of Rs 70 lakhs against a net loss of Rs 49 lakhs for the previous year and a net profit of Rs 13 lakhs for 1963-64.
