Case of Anti-Fertility Vaccine Chayanika Swatija UNTIL now the objections from women's groups to new contraceptives were based mainly on the harmful effects of the method. Questions were raised about inadequate testing, about lack of ethical standards during the testing, about the dumping of harmful methods developed in the so-called 'developed' world on poor women in our parts of the world. But now with the new method that is being tested the world over and developed the anti-fertility vaccine, the opposition has acquired a new tone. For the first time there is an evolving understanding that there should be an immediate halt to ail research on anti-fertility vaccines the world over. The issue is no longer confined to proper research or testing.
