Fertiliser Industry Paul Pothen ON the eve of the Seventh Plan, a clear and well-structured 'Technology Policy Statement' has been issued by the Goverment of India. It draws attention to the Scientific Policy Resolution of 1958 and the strong agricultural and industrial base as well as the quality and quantity of scientific manpower that have been developed as a result of planning. Its object is to purposefully direct these accumulated strengths to power a technology thrust which measures upto the incredible speed at which the frontiers of knowledge are opening up and resulting in technological opportunities.
