except a marginal realignment of the price for Original Equipment tyres and tubes by which the difference which had soared as high as 25 per cent as compared to dealer and replacement prices, has been allowed to be brought down to 10 per cent It will, therefore, be observed that even with maximum production, it is not possible for the Tyre Industry to maintain their normal margins and this is bound to reflect on the ultimate profitability figures of the operations for the current year.
