in the Corporate Sector K G Ramanathan, IAS Managing Director Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilisers Company Limited, Bharuch Introduction Pollution Control GUJARAT NARMADA VALLEY FERTILISERS COMPANY LIMITED, popularly known as GNFC, is a joint sector company promoted by the Government of Gujarat. GNFC is located at Bharuch on the banks of the mighty river Narmada. The Company, at its inception, had production facilities for the manufacture of 1350 MT/day of Ammonia and 1800 MT/day of urea plants, alongwith associated facilities.

October 5, 1968 proceeding ahead with its production until the extent of the market is assessed in an assured way, Promising inquiries have been received from within the country and abroad and they are under discussion and examination.
