Without labour displacement, problems of inventory control, materials handling, quality control not to speak of information processing for financial and marketing management can be taken care of. And these are areas which demand urgent attention for many public sector units in Kerala which have been on the red for a number of years. While there may be other factor? constraining the successful running of these units, it is not clear whether the above mentioned aspects have been taken care of in a manner that it no longer need to be examined further.
