Thus, ways in which farm tasks are shared between men and women vary among sub-cultures. However, with the application of the new technology in agriculture, the structure of agricultural production processes and employment patterns are undergoing rapid change.

Although a less-than-perfect vehicle for such analysis, the model can provide insight into the pattern of labour displacement, its possible rate and the composition of displaced farm workers.
